Existing customers can now download the BB10-compatible enterprise device management software
RIM has released its BB10-ready BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 software for download.
The remote management software allows companies to manage BlackBerry smartphones and PlayBooks as well as devices using iOS and Android operating systems.
When BB10 devices are released later in the year they will also be compatible with the new software, the manufacturer has confirmed.
RIM senior vice president of enterprise software Peter Devenyi said:
“BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 empowers employees to be more productive and better equipped to serve customers while it provides business and IT leaders with the confidence that corporate data is protected and the manageability that CIOs and IT departments have long enjoyed with BlackBerry.”
