Samsung has revealed a new range of phablets, the 5.8 inch and 6.3 inch Galaxy Mega.
The Korean manufacturer was the pioneer in making larger screen devices a success thanks to the demand for its Galaxy Note series of handsets. Onlt the 6.3 inch Mega will come to the United Kingdom and will go on sale in the middle of May, shortly after the Galaxy S4 is launched.
The Android Jelly Bean devices have a larger screen than Samsung’s previous phablet, the Galaxy Note II, had but the Megas lack its stylus. Both devices include many of Samsung’s smartphone features, including Air View, which previews files and emails and Samsung Link, which can stream photos and videos to a television, tablet or computer. The device has an 8MP rear facing camera and 1.9MP front facing. The handsets run on a dual-core processor.
