Spectrum is ending the year on a high, having seen several of its employees gain National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) during 2009.

Spectrum’s dedicated staff were presented with their hard-earned certificates this week, seeing the total number of employees to have gained NVQs this year rise

The large majority of employees who work at Spectrum across the country have now gained NVQs over the last 18 months in customer service, business administration, team leading and management.

Achieved through workplace assessment and training, the latest programme was delivered by local provider Performance Through People.

On presenting the achievers with their certificates, Jenny Lee Holt said: “It’s important to recognise that the training that these employees have successfully completed has been of their own accord and is a credit to their commitment as individuals”

“For a business to continue to thrive and grow, it needs competent, capable, experienced and motivated employees. But this would not be achieved if it wasn’t for the commitment of those people who are willing to take the time to go the extra mile for both themselves and the company.
